Users’ enthusiasm for purchasing increased, and the focus of actual transactions was still biased towards the middle and low end. As of October 17, the benchmark price of acrylic acid rose by 0.55% compared with the beginning of this month.
Downstream demand is positively driven
Due to the favorable terminal demand, the participation of acrylic ester users in the spot market has increased. Due to the increase in cargo volume and the cost effect, most traders’ quotations are mainly slightly adjusted, and most of them are real-time negotiations. As for the judgment of the future market, both parties to the transaction said that their market prices fluctuated and the overall transaction volume increased.
Supply and demand drive is obvious
Supply forecast: The operating load of acrylic acid enterprises in the market has been slightly adjusted, and the subsequent supply of goods in the market is still sufficient, and the supply side is favorable to the market price.
Demand forecast: Short-term downstream demand has improved significantly, but it still maintains rigid demand purchases. The industry is still cautious about the future of acrylic acid, and the demand side supports it strongly.
Cost analysis: Propylene prices in East China are firm. Recently, the propylene external storage device in Zhejiang region has been restarted, and the downstream factories are relatively wait-and-see, and the market quotation price is stable at around 7,000 yuan/ton. Due to the downstream resistance to high-priced sources, the delivery price in Jiangsu has loosened slightly, reaching around 7,250 yuan/ton.
On the whole: At present, the transaction margin of acrylic acid has turned stronger, and enterprises have maintained stable production as a whole. The supply has not increased significantly, but under the favorable influence of the demand side, the price has also continued to consolidate recently.
