[Storage Safety] (1) When storing acrylic acid, store it in a cool and ventilated warehouse. It should be stored separately from oxidants, alkalis, alkali metals, and food chemicals, and should not be stored together. The storage area is equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment and suitable containment materials.
(2) Obvious safety signs should be set up at the storage place of acrylic acid, the storage tank should be sealed and covered, and a metering device should be installed, and a certain space should be reserved for storage.
(3) Set up cofferdams around the acrylic acid storage tank. The volume of the cofferdams is equal to the volume of the acid (storage) tanks, and the cofferdams and the ground are treated with anticorrosion.
(4) Carry out inspections of each storage (storage) tank no less than twice a day, and make records, and contact and deal with hidden dangers such as running, leaking, dripping, and leaking in time, and report major hidden dangers in time.
(5) Storage tanks should have anti-condensation measures.
[Transportation Safety] (1) Transport vehicles should have dangerous goods transport signs and be installed with satellite positioning devices with driving recording functions. Without the approval of the public security organ, transport vehicles are not allowed to enter the restricted area for vehicles transporting dangerous chemicals.
(2) Acrylic acid is transported in special tank trucks (ships), and the tank trucks (ships) should be cleaned regularly; when transported in other packaging containers, the containers must be sealed with corrosion-resistant material covers. The transport vehicle should meet the fire safety requirements (flame arrester, dangerous goods signboard) and be equipped with corresponding fire fighting equipment. (3) Acrylic transporters must pay attention to protection and wear necessary protective equipment as required; during transport, management personnel must go to the site to supervise unloading and loading; it is not suitable for transport at night or when there is insufficient light or in rainy days. If it is necessary to move under special circumstances, the consent of the person in charge of the department must be obtained, and relevant measures such as shelter from the rain should be taken; smoking is strictly prohibited during moving.
(4) It is strictly forbidden to mix and transport with oxidants, alkalis, alkali metals, food chemicals, etc. The transport vehicle should be equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment during transportation. During transportation, it should be protected from sun exposure, rain and high temperature.
Emergency handling principles:【First Aid Measures】Inhalation: Leave the scene quickly to a place with fresh air. Keep airway open. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. 【Emergency measures for leakage】Eliminate all sources of ignition. It is recommended that emergency personnel wear positive pressure self-contained air respirators and wear anti-static, anti-corrosion, and anti-virus clothing.
